Edit: Turns out like my laptop this other monitor tends to lean on the shade of blue...thus when I transfer this over to the web it goes durp. Ah well...just believe I tried. It looks better on this monitor but eh, i'll be using the one that doesn't need to finaggle as much colors. Ugh.

Procured the doom that is the tablet! THE TABLET.

First thing I did? Color this line work...

It will take some time to get used to this new fangled thing but it definitely is a fun beast to play with. It has far more gadgets on it than my old Intuos 4 and is a lot more sensitive it seems. We shall see as time goes...

I tried ok? I haven't colored anything in like forever. :c It has been literal almost a year I think? Maybe? Maybe a little less...but not by much.

Pondering an idea to get a new tablet.

Also wanting to showcase most of my older art here as well - which would require me to basically take the pieces I want to use and putting a watermark on each of them. I don't think it would be a big issue at the end of the day but eh, just a lot of time.

I am not sure how Adult art is done up on this site however - or else I may just have to leave those with a link to FA.

But yeah, i'm somewhat motivated and that is good.

Dinosaurs?

Of course. Dinosaurs.

It should be known by now; or if you have just ran across my dinosaur work...that I don't really follow the "realistic" scene and go for a more fantasy aspect. If I was a more focused person i'd try and put together my dinosaur comic...but alas.

I just design them as I'd see them in that world. Probably pop out some ref sheets here and there.

As of this moment all are mostly black and white. Most of my illustrations will probably follow suit until I figure what i'm going to fiddle with color wise.

Dilophosaurus. Obviously standard dinosaurs tails do not fold in this way...but eh, I have the bad habit of drawing far to big on the sheets of paper I have and blah. We'll just coin this up to fantasy related artistic license. I never did say I was doodling from "life". Gotta love these guys though. This one has a bit less plumage...

Some kind of mimus. Not really sure - I think I had in mind a Struthiomimus but eh, yeah. I just wanted to see how it would look.

Oviraptors are one of my favorites for some reason. They play a big roll for the most part in my weird Dinosaur story. They advocate for the main "clans" - and depending on if they deal with Carnivores or Herbivores they differ greatly. They are "neutral" in a way; and are a "middle man" between clans I guess. This fellow is one in particular...and a more neutral good aligned.

Tsintaosaurus is one of my all time favorite hadrosaurs. I always liked the fact it had this "unicorn" type crest as opposed to the others. However, it seems science has deemed this actually wasn't a single long crest but something more shoe-horn shaped. Ah well...for now i'll pretend it still has the unicorn horn until they find the fossils.

Dimetrodon isn't a dinosaur; if you didn't know already. His fin is a little squashed (or a lot) but as usual I tend to draw bigger than I shoulda on the paper. I just had this idea for a very animated beast and thus, he came to be.

Hopefully that won't be the end to the dinosaur craziness. Maybe colors one day...one day~

Due to MadHatterMonster talking about her OC and just in general touching Mass Effect again...well, here is some random Spiira, my Turian OC.

She's a special time. Her and her lady.

Something comic bookish something. I dunno. I forgot how to draw her so I had to look up multiple things including my old images. Go me.

I'm pretty depressed today. As usual my emotions are running away with me.

BUT i'm trying to draw anyway...at least something.

I've realized, or pretending i've realized, that my problem with progression art wise is I tend to try and incorporate to many things at once instead of focusing on my main process that comes to me easiest...which is inks.

I don't know - I just gotta sit back and try and not get to crazy being inspired by too much stuff...though linework always garners my attention the most with the stark black and white.

And then there was a random T-rex. It is my spirit animal you know...

This may be becoming more suitable which is a good thing and possibly...well, it can't be bad at all if i'm a little excited over the aspect of using this place. It tends to grow with the customization antics this blog allows me to fiddle with - so; on that note we may have a good venue to throw down.

I'm still trying to figure how i'm going to go about with colors. This tablet still upsets me as it has become nothing more than an overused "normal" monitor for the price oh, well, 2-3 20" ones. Fun times.

Now to figure what to do today since I didn't go off to the Health Department. Was to tired this morning but it was my own fault. Next week we'll see how it swings.

Crossing fingers!

It has been sometime since i've fiddled with this. I'm having a hard time pondering if I should just go with a new Tumblr or deal with here...

I suppose this makes things more official but Tumblr makes it easier to keep up with people. Bleh.

Lots of blah has been going on mentally; been eating away at me for a long time and ruining my artistic prowess. Trying to get out of it though.
